As a Compliance Officer you will be responsible to implement compliance policies and procedures throughout our nursing and HR departments to ensure that all processes are in compliance with the DOH regulations. You will be required to hold the HHA caregivers accountable to the highest standards of DOH regulations, handling a high volume of calls, staying calm in difficult situations while dealing with frustrated patients and caregivers.

Compliance Officer Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Implement compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments
  • Monitor and address HIPPA and DOH compliance issues/complaints
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Remain composed, professional with a positive attitude under pressure
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
